Residential Superintendent
Semi-Custom Homes
New Wave Construction is seeking an experienced Residential Superintendent to oversee field operations for semi-custom home projects in the St. George area. This role is responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedule and quality standards, and ensuring each home is delivered through punch list and closeout with professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day onsite construction activities from start to completion
- Maintain the project schedule and plan work proactively to avoid delays
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and jobsite logistics
- Verify work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and quality expectations
- Communicate clearly and consistently with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal team members
- Identify issues early, implement solutions, and drive accountability in the field
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused jobsite
- Perform punch list pick-up work and minor corrective items as needed
- Support final inspections, closeout documentation, and turnover activities
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential home-building experience (superintendent/lead field role preferred)
- Proven ability to manage schedules and coordinate multiple trades effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and professional jobsite leadership
- Self-starter with strong organization, follow-through, and accountability
- Ability to complete punch list and minor repair/touch-up work as needed
